Singer, Nurit Galron, was supposed to perform in our 2020 annual event - which was canceled due to COVID-19. Instead, she chose to participate in a fundraiser for the women and children, and recorded a new version of "We All Need a Touch of Grace." The video clip includes footage from Galron`s visit to the Shelter.
Woman to Woman will run in the Jerusalem Marathon, March 25, 2022.
Run with us and support us to raise awareness to the plight of victims of domestic violence.
Our goal: To help the women and children of the shelter and halfway homes in their personal marathon towards a better future.Click to Support Our Marathon Campaign
The drawings before you were made by youngsters in our Children’s Center. As part of the regular diagnostic processes, the childcare staff asked them to draw their families, giving them no specific guidelines. The accompanying captions are the children’s own words about their drawings.Click to view
This exhibition is the outcome of a cooperative effort between Woman to Woman and its Shelter for Battered Women in Jerusalem, and a group comprising five photographers and one curator, Noga Arad-Elon of the Jerusalem Theater, which is hosting the exhibition. The photographers visited the Shelter over a period of several weeks, breathed in its unique atmosphere, got to know the women and children and, with their camera lenses, captured instants in the lives of the residents and the staff. Our gratitude goes to the volunteers photographers- Anat Gal, Anat Dizian, Rivka Hille Lavian, Carmela Keet, Vered Sadot.
